Gas is controlled only at the point where the problem exists; the rest of your system will continue to function. Safety+PLUS EFV automatically resets once the gas line is properly repaired. The thermal component utilizes a thermal ring that will restrict the flow through the valve when the valve is exposed to temperatures of 400°F or more. BrassCraft’s stainless steel gas connector also features a proprietary polymer coating designed to withstand prolonged exposure to harsh household cleaning, plumbing repair and masonry products as well as UV rays and salt. Unlike conventional dipped or sprayed coatings, the ProCoat coating is baked directly on the connector surface at high temperatures to provide a uniform coating over the entire length of the connector. The coating is applied only after the connector has been 100% leak tested to provide complete corrosion resistance.

Push-to-Connect Angle Stop Valves, two 5 ft. coils of 1/4 in. PEX Pipe, two 1/4 in. (3/8 in. O.D.) SharkBite x 1/2 in. Swivel Faucet Connectors, and a 1/2 in. Chrome Trim Cover reversed functions as a disconnect and 1/4 in. disconnect clip to remove the pipe from the fitting if needed. The SharkBite Angle Stop Valves work with copper, PEX or CPVC. Just insert the pipe and the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal. Disassembly is just as fast using the simple disconnect tool so fittings and valves can be easily changed and reused. They can even be rotated after assembly for easier installation in tight spaces. The included PEX coils can be cut to the exact length needed so there is no excess supply line to coil up under the sink providing a clean, tangle free look. Once the stop valves are installed, thread the 1/2 in. faucet connectors onto the faucet connections and then measure and cut the PEX and push into the outlet on the stop valve and the faucet connector and the installation is complete.
