The Apollo 1/2 in. CPVC x Male Threaded Transition Adapter is simple to install and is designed for transitioning from CPVC to alternative piping systems. It is designed for use within hot and cold water pressure piping systems in all commercial and residential applications. The CPVC x Male Threaded Transition Adapter features a female solvent weld socket and a male threaded stainless steel connection. The fitting is used in applications where a change in the piping material is necessary.
Compatible with CPVC pipe.
Solvent weld slip x stainless steel male pipe thread (MPT) connection.
Not compatible with gases or compressed air.
Used to transition from CPVC piping system to alternative piping systems.
The SharkBite Faucet Installation Kit has everything you need to install your new faucet. The kit includes 2 SharkBite 1/2 in. x 1/4 in. (3/8 in. O.D.) Push-to-Connect Angle Stop Valves, two 5 ft. coils of 1/4 in. PEX Pipe, two 1/4 in. (3/8 in. O.D.) SharkBite x 1/2 in. Swivel Faucet Connectors, and a 1/2 in. Chrome Trim Cover reversed functions as a disconnect and 1/4 in. disconnect clip to remove the pipe from the fitting if needed. The SharkBite Angle Stop Valves work with copper, PEX or CPVC. Just insert the pipe and the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal. Disassembly is just as fast using the simple disconnect tool so fittings and valves can be easily changed and reused. They can even be rotated after assembly for easier installation in tight spaces. The included PEX coils can be cut to the exact length needed so there is no excess supply line to coil up under the sink providing a clean, tangle free look. Once the stop valves are installed, thread the 1/2 in. faucet connectors onto the faucet connections and then measure and cut the PEX and push into the outlet on the stop valve and the faucet connector and the installation is complete.

Working temperature range: 41°F to 122°F (5°C to 55°C).
Maximum pressure rating 150 psi at 73°F (22°C).
Requires solvent cement for installation (not included).
Please note – as temperature increases, working pressure decreases, the optimal working pressure for PVC valves is 150 psi at 73°F (22°C) if the temperature increases above 73°F (22°C), use the PVC. correction factor to determine working pressure, multiply the maximum working pressure by the correction factor, please see correction factor grid on the attached specification sheet.
