It features a superior, fast acting thermostatic element that provides stable operation at flow rates as low as 0.25 gm (0.95 pm). The Heatguard 135 also reduces the outlet flow to a trickle in the event of a cold water supply failure. The valve inlets and outlet connections are standard 3/8″ supply line compression connections for use with 3/8 in. OD tube. The inlets of the valve feature check valves to prevent cross contamination as well as serviceable strainer screens to prevent the valve from being clogged with dirt or debris. Each valve includes a purpose built mounting bracket and hardware to neatly and securely fasten the valve to the wall. The compact design and pleasant aesthetics allow for this valve to easily be fit under or behind a single basin. Adjustable outlet temperature range: 100°-120°F (38°-49°C).

In the event of a gas line rupture or disconnect, the excess flow valve (EFV) restricts gas flow at the appliance to a non-hazardous level. This immediate action helps avert the potential for a dangerous release of gas into the home. Gas is controlled only at the point where the problem exists; the rest of your system will continue to function. Safety+PLUS EFV automatically resets once the gas line is properly repaired. The thermal component utilizes a thermal ring that will restrict the flow through the valve when the valve is exposed to temperatures of 400F or more. BrassCraft’s stainless steel gas connector also features a proprietary polymer coating designed to withstand prolonged exposure to harsh household cleaning, plumbing repair and masonry products as well as UV rays and salt. Unlike conventional dipped or sprayed coatings, the ProCoat coating is baked directly on the connector surface at high temperatures to provide a uniform coating over the entire length of the connector. The coating is applied only after the connector has been 100% leak tested to provide complete corrosion resistance.

Push-to-Connect Angle Stop Valves, two 5 ft. coils of 1/4 in. PEX Pipe, two 1/4 in. (3/8 in. O.D.) SharkBite x 1/2 in. Swivel Faucet Connectors, and a 1/2 in. Chrome Trim Cover reversed functions as a disconnect and 1/4 in. disconnect clip to remove the pipe from the fitting if needed. The SharkBite Angle Stop Valves work with copper, PEX or CPVC. Just insert the pipe and the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal.
